Two lanes merging into one, merging in turn I indicate out of the way of a large vehicle parked up on the left, thinking that the car behind would let me through. On the contrary, he beeps angrily whilst unsuccessfully trying to overtake me by going over to the other side of the road. I think nothing of it as I obviously misunderstood his intentions and there was nothing else I could have done, it was a mistake no one got hurt right! Wrong, he proceeds to follow me for 5 miles or more and so after a long period of time I was getting really anxious, being on my own and female in my twenties, I have never experienced confrontation and I don't much talk to strangers just in case they have bad intentions (cautious I know! but in this day and age who knows right). So I have had enough of driving and I pull into some private land that I have connections with so I knew I was going to be safe. The man follows me into the car park area and blocks me in, gets out of his car and gestures at me angrily to wind my window down. Of course I refuse and he tells me that he has reported me to the police and then takes a picture of me in my car on his phone and drives off. Surely this is outrageous behaviour and he should be reported but I didn't get a chance to take his number plate as I didn't realise he was actually following me until I turned into the private land. I now feel very violated and astonished that someone can cause so much distress after one very silly incident. Just imagine if everyone got into the habit of following people to places just to trap them and take pictures of them on their phone for their own satisfaction. This man was bang out of order, and I urge everyone out there who gets followed like this to take their details down and report them because no one has the right to do this, it's touching on criminal behaviour isn't it? And yet this particular man got away with it, how frustrating!!
