If you have a mk1b ie 87 to 89 model then you will still find this useful although a few things are different it will point you in the right direction. Buy this and join one of the owners clubs and you should be fine.

covers everything regarding the mechanics of the car, but it would be nice if it had more things about the panels of the car(wings etc). From now on i can say for sure that this will be my Bible for my Mr2.

Avoid the Chilton's MR2 manual and buy this one first. Chilton's manual covers three different cars and is not explicit enough for the MR2 owners. You may find some useful information in the Chilton's manual, but I think most MR2 owners will be more pleased with this manual.
