It's not often you buy a book with great review which not only lives up to expectation but also does what it promises to do.

After my fifth unsucessful attempt at passing my test i thought i'd never taste motering freedom but what i learned from reading this book was not only dozens of hints and tips about the test itself but also how to improve my mindset towards driving and how to tackle the dreaded test.

Sadly, the book not drive the car for you but what it does do is get in your head and give you an uplifing and comical view of driving, helping you to relax and ultimately become less intimidated about passing everyones most feared exam

A great lighthearted read with some invaluable tips - a must for anyone daunted by driving.

The book arrived just 2 days ago, and I've finished reading it already. Definitely recommend it. I'm a foreigner, who started to work in UK less then 4 months ago, so it is a pain to adjust to a completely new system of regulations and authorizing offices here. I'm glad this book contains all the necessary information and references starting from the very beginning (aka provisional license).
I have already got the license in my home country, but i do require a refreshers' course, so it was quite interesting to read about "choosing an instructor" chapter.
All in all, good book! And I hope to get my British license (with the help and guidance from this book) as soon as possible.

This book belongs to my sister and despite the fact I passed my driving test before reading the book I still found it incredibly helpful when it came to car insurance. I could completely relate to what the writer experienced whilst learning to drive. The book has been passed around family and friends who all agreed the book was helpful, I have even caught my boyfriend having a sneaky peek.

A really good book for learners, very encouraging and will boost the confidence of those learning when they read that others have gone through the same things.

As a driving instructor, I come across many books aimed at helping learner drivers. Many of them are very 'textbooky' and not very appealing to read. However, this book makes a refreshing change. It is packed full of useful information and thoroughly enjoyable to read as the author's writing style is down to earth and friendly.

So many learners feel silly asking questions that they think they should know the answer to; believe me, you will find the answer to every question you could ever think of in this little book.

This is essential reading for ANYONE learning to drive - not just the girls!

I've been trying to pass my test for a while now and always seem to get things cropping up that put my driving on the backseat (excuse the pun!).

However after purchasing this book I have successfully managed to take driving lessions for 2 months now and have made a lot of progress. This books tips on making time made a difference to me. Now I cannot wait to pass my driving test and use my new found skill (because driving is a skill).

This book gives you the lighthearted encouragement you know your friends want to give you but have given up on the idea of you passing your test.

I followed the tips in this book and actually got rid of my partners driving intructor (the gossip and unreliable type will NEVER get you through your test). Since then he is happily progressing with his new instructor. I also followed the tips and have found an instructor who understands I get panicky (once in a while) and doesn't shout or make me feel really small. I've even done my emergency stop without any problems-thanks to this books heads up on the situation (and of course my instructor).

This book is a must for any girl/ladee-I would even suggest it be a stample on the list of parents who have daughters turning 17 as this book will help them so much.
