We hear so much about so-and-so being 'the next big thing' in Formula One without any rhyme or reason to it. Who knows who came from where or why in the sport? Well... readers of this book will.
Rather than speculate on how good these young drivers might be in the future, it accurately and honestly gives an account of how they reached the sport's top level with a clear eye, great insight and the clear cooperation of the drivers themselves. I have never read such detailed accounts of these young men's thoughts and feelings, nor such well-balanced, well-observed studies of their careers.
If Mark Webber, the sport's coming man and a well-known straight talker, was prepared to put his name to the book and write its glowing introduction then who are we to quibble?
An outstanding account of the sport's future.

This book gives a useful insight into the past careers of some of the up-and-coming F1 drivers.
It is not the most gripping book, but it is good none the less.
I would reccomend it to keen enthusiasts only!
And do bare in mind that a large proportion of it is about these drivers before they were in F1!
I think it could have been a lot more interesting had it talked more about F1 and the future prospects of these drivers...?
