Problem is, this book deals with early Japanese Built SJ413 models, with an addendum (incomplete) of some SJ410 models. These vehicles have been built in Japan, India, Spain and a myriad of other countries. The Vitara section deals only with early models, 8v Carb'd, there are Canadian, Japanese and Spanish built models with a host of different variations before you even get into 8V, 16v etc changes. Good perhaps to have a basic reference book, but even with the UK addendums it is pitifully inadequate for the serious Suzuki/Maruti/ZUK fan. Good luck, A S Clarke.

As with all Haynes manuals, this workshop manual gives excellent advice on every part thinkable on an SJ or Vitara. This book got me through a restoration of an SJ and i owe so much to it! Whether you're just servicing, or contemplating a complete rebuild, this is the book for you. All procedures are described in easy-to-understand format. Thank you Haynes!!
