I ordered this book due to my fondness of Renault clios and to see what i was up against when undertaking the task of moding one.

I found the first few pages, which outline common faults, problems and things to look out for when buying a second hand clio, extremely useful and imformative. It details what to look out for, and various dangers.
There is a comprehensive guide on second hand buying and im sure make second hand buyers a lot more confident in their purchases.

However that is only the first section, the rest of the book is an endless guide and walkthrough to any alterations or styling products you might want to fit.
There is advice on what you can DIY, and what you should leave to the pros.
Step by step guides on modding procedures ranging from fitting the smallest of tasks such as Gearstick gaitors, to the feat of fitting a complete body kit.
The book also has areas explaning the clios history, theft threats and how to deal with them, and an enclusive guide as to what is legal and what is not. How to legitimately lower your insurance premium, and keep clean with the police.

I find this book extremly imformative and resourceful, a must have to anyone thinking of modding a clio.

however: this is not a Hanyes motor manual and does not list specialist tasks, like replacing a cambelt.

This book exclusively deals with the MK1 Clio Phases 1,2 and 3. Running from 1991 - 1998
The new clios are not featured.

This book is great for anyone who wants to modify there clio contents as follows buyers guide..insurance..security..body styling..lights & bulbs..wheels & tyres..suspension..brakes..interiors..ice..engines..exhausts.
all these sections tell you what you can do to modify your car to look the coolest around.
Each section shows you by picture and in words how to change the part you are modifing with good and easy explanation.
