Normally these types of books can be fragmented, but Garton tells an
Interesting story with his first book.
Cracking historical facts make for an enjoyable read, in fact I
Kaned it through this book in a relatively short time.

I would reccomend this book to anyone who wants one of those realistic,
Sincere accounts of how a team in F1 Operates

Aspects covered concerning Maranello will also apply for Ferrari fans!

Completely reccommend this as a good book, quite easy to
Run through in a short period of time, and gives a high degree of
Insight into the wacky world of F1
Top Shelf Mr Garton, bring on the next one!

A well-researched and well-written book, which I would recommend to F1 fans and occassional Grand Prix TV viewers alike. With the Ferrari/Schumacher dominance of the last few years it's easier to forget Ferrari hadn't won the F1 drivers title for 21 years prior to 2000. The interviews from those responsible for this transformation and the author's inside knowledge make this an entertaining and enjoyable read. There's also some nice historical references throughout the book which explain the passion for motor racing and Ferrari in Italy, and the pressure from the fans to live up to the exploits of drivers such as Nuvolari and Gilles Villeneuve.

An excellent attempt by this first author. I see he has not written any books before, so must congratulate Mr Garton on a top quality book. For those F1 fans out there, the book will live up to expectations. And, as an F1 fan, you will probably be in awe of the general magnificence of the team - this book encapsulates these moments and draws the reader in. It provides a good outline, some interesting stories and in general, gives you all you need to know about the team, the personalities and the passion. If you were looking for a Ferrari book, this is one to get. Fully recommended and an excellent read!
